The diverse cultures that call Arkansas home have combined to pass down some great food traditions. The state’s unique foods, legendary restaurants, remarkable cooks and entrepreneurs, and related festivals and events are recognized through the Arkansas Food Hall of Fame, established in 2017. Created and managed by the Department of Arkansas Heritage, the program recognizes those “taste-setters” who contribute to the state’s foodways and cultural identity.
