Moore Bayou Recreation Area

Moore Bayou is a U. S. Army Corps of Engineers campground and is open year-round with a boat launch and picnic tables. It is the access point for the five-mile Arkansas Post water trail, a cooperative boat trail with the Army Corps of Engineers, Arkansas Game and Fish, the National Park Service, and Arkansas Canoe Club. It is located nine miles south of Gillett, accessed by State Highway 169 via U. S. Highway 165.
