Monticello Mural

This mural depicts postcard-style images for visitors driving through the Monticello Historic Downtown Business District.  The mural encompasses some of the things that make Monticello proud and includes stamps, stickers, and banners to add special elements throughout the artwork. The mural was painted by Erin Ashcraft, born and raised in Monticello and now living in Rogers where she is a full-time artist and muralist.  The mural is a project of the Monticello/Drew County Chamber of Commerce and the Monticello  Downtown Development Network. Future plans include selecting  “post cards” from the mural as inspiration for additional mural depictions throughout downtown.
