Greene County Museum

The Greene County Museum is located in the renovated home of former Arkansas Governor J. Marion Futrell. The house, built in 1908, is included in the Arkansas Register of Historic Places. The museum's 14 rooms are filled with treasured, unique, and often irreplaceable artifacts and heirlooms. Each room is dedicated to one aspect of Greene County history. They include the Railroad, Timber and Industry Room; Native American Nook; Media Room; Education Room; Medical Room; Sports Room; Old Kitchen; Settlers Room; Pioneer Room; Greene County Room; Gift Shop; Military Room; and Children's Room.
