Forrest City Murals

A series of public murals have been painted all over town by area artists.  The murals depict a wide range of scenes, including Forrest City development from Native American habitation to the coming of the railroad, abundant crops on Crowley's Ridge, the American flag, historic buildings and streetscapes, hot air balloons and natural landscapes, trees, and sunbursts.  The murals are a project to beautify the town and provide points of interest for visitors.  Some are painted on the sides of buildings, while others are mounted on giant easels. (Swipe through the slide show above for a glimpse of the murals.)
