Cut-Off Creek Wildlife Management Area

This 9,080-acre public hunting area is mostly bottomland hardwood with some upland sites. There is one major stream and three major sloughs. Duck hunting is one of the most popular activities in the area, with approximately 2,000 acres flooded annually for ducks, with mallards and wood ducks most common. Deer hunting is fair, with an expanding population, and furbearers such as raccoon and mink provide good opportunities for trappers. There are four primitive campsites, mostly for tents or pull trailer campers. For information and regulations, call 1-877-367-3559
