Jonesboro Historic Coca-Cola Mural

Ghost sign restored by Vince Pearcy on side of Cregeen's.

BACKSTORY:  The first Coke sign painted on this building could have been painted as far back as 1908 when the Bell Pharmacy opened. The proprietors' names, Adams and Clardy, are still visible above the windows on the second floor. By 1939 the pharmacy had closed. There have been at least three variations of the sign over the years and this seems to be the last configuration that was painted. Colors are period correct and all of the lettering has been restored as accurately as possible.
