Civil War Roundtable: Buffalo Soldier Isaac Johnson

"Buffalo Soldier Isaac Johnson" is the featured presentation for the Civil War Roundtable from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 13, at the Miller Annex, Delta Cultural Center. The Civil War led to many changes for African Americans, including opportunities they would later have.  Many would proudly serve their country as Buffalo Soldiers.  Meet George Pettigrew, vice president of the Alexander/Madison Chapter of KC Buffalo Soldiers, as he recounts the story of one such soldier, Isaac Johnson, and the difference he helped make during his tenure there.
