Gillett Coon Supper

One of Arkansas’ most iconic annual events is the Coon Supper at Gillett. What began as a small community potluck to celebrate hunting season has grown into a statewide event featuring Arkansas politicians, athletes, and celebrities that often represents the unofficial start of campaign season in Arkansas.  Proceeds provide scholarships to Gillett area graduating high school seniors and benefit Gillett High School athletics. One of the most acknowledged, anticipated, and attended wild game dinners. The Coon Supper is the winner of the 2018 Food-Related Event in the Arkansas Food Hall of Fame.
