Delta Shotgun Trail

Start this mixed-surface ride after touring the WWII Japanese American Internment Museum in McGehee and head north on AR-1 for an hour to Rohwer, site of the Japanese American Relocation Center, where up to 8,000 Japanese Americans were incarcerated during WWII.  The cemetery remains, along with interpretive panels. Head southeast where you'll ride along the levee in full view of the Mississippi River, arriving in historic Arkansas City. Once you weave your way through the town's attractions, head west on AR-4 back to McGehee.
